Anyone who uses the bus system in PEI knows T3 Transit and has likely visited their website. They have a better website now, but when I first had the idea to build a modern, user-friendly version, the original site was totally outdated.
I was struggling to find basic information, such as the bus schedules. When an important website needs a refresh or is simply not well designed, I see it as an opportunity to play around and show how much cooler and useful it could be.
So, here is my unofficial concept version of the T3 Transit website.
I tried to keep it simple, since all sorts of people visit their site. At the same time, I wanted to make it easier to locate the bus schedules, ticket details, and other key information while adding more identity and a professional look.
Their new website fixed a lot of the problems I identified in the old one, but it could benefit from a bit more of identity.
I sent this version to their team and never got any feedback. But hopefully they got inspired by my ideas, as one could say they’re pretty similar… but I could be wrong, right? You can check my concept below.
Help me sharing this job.
Thanks so much for checking out my work! Hope you’re enjoying it as much as I enjoyed making it.
T3 Transit provides public transportation throughout Prince Edward Island.
It was made just for fun, but I really liked the outcome.
